Brokeback Mountain cont.

Yet here again we have a movie that did not have a happy ending and I really loved it.

As I mentioned in the first post most of this story is told without words. Not only do I think this is great because the movie is able to do this but because I feel that what they had between each other did not need words. Love does not need words, dont get me wrong it is nice to hear, but honestly true love does not need any words at all. There were many times when there was no dialogue and I could just tell how they were feeling and it would get me all emotional.

The end really got to me as I said in the first post. I pretty much lost it when he found the shirt and jacket. Seeing that just said so much, it said things that probably should have been said. (I know I just said that love needs no words at all, but sometimes the few words do make a big difference) I know what I mean and since I will be the only one who reads this most likely ever, I dont have to explain too much.

Anyway, I left the theatre with a odd kind of sadness….not a depressed one, but more of a, wow I dont know what to think and a I feel empty inside.

Even though there is a long way to go, I’m glad society has come a long way from what it was. I did feel sorry for both of their wives, but at the same time I feel like they were pretty much forced into it and made to live the lives they did.

Enough, I guess…before I get all teary eyed again….
