I can not wait to get completely settled so that when I do have a day off it will actually be a day off.
Today I went and took my test for a CA drivers license. Back story is I went last Wednesday got there are 3pm and sat and waited until 4:45pm for my number to be called. When it was finally called I found out that they do not give the written test after 4:30pm…at first I was kind of pissed but what they do is process the application, collect the payment, give the eye test and take the photo that way I could come back in and take the test without waiting in line. So back to today I got there shortly after they opened and the test was 30 questions and could not get more than 6 wrong to pass. I think you can take it up to 3 times in a row if need be. I took the test fairly quickly feeling confident that I passed but figured I missed about 3-4. Well when it was graded I only missed 1. Which come to think of it I should not have missed any because I had plenty of time to read the pamphlet/book on CA driving laws when I was waiting on Wednesday. So I now kind of have a CA license…I say kind of because it is literally a piece of paper until the real one comes in the mail….that seems so backwards to me…..
I also got my phone number changed and now have a local number to San Francisco. One of the promotions that Sprint has is rebates/instant discounts on phones that are a year or two old. Well mine was like 6 years old so I decided to get a new phone, kind of sad because I had the old one so long, but long overdue.
