2005 Year in Review

1. What did you do in 2005 that you’d never done before?
Went to California
not go home for Christmas

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Basically I wanted to be happier and I think I have achieved that. Not sure if I will make any for this year, I’m sure I will think of something.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes Pete & Heather had their second child

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No

5. What countries did you visit?
Did not leave the United States

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
Close CA friends like I had in NC

7. What dates from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 29th – the day I left NC and left my friends behind it was a sad day
August 2nd – my first day in my new city, so exciting
And all the horrible days of driving in between

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Moving to a new city with no job, place to live or without knowing anyone and making it work.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not seeing my dad before I left for the west coast

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Allergies which I get every year.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Ipod – use it all the time

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Greg and Brian for helping my so much with my moving preparations

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Nobody

14. Where did most of your money go?
Moving expenses

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Moving to San Francisco

16. What song will always remind you of 2005?
Phantom Planet – California and Pet Shop Boys – Go West

Sitting around doing nothing

In CA, not sure what I will be doing or with who, if anyone

No

None

Charmed & Desperate Housewives

My Ipod

28. What did you want and get?
A place to live and a job in San Francisco

29. What did you want and not get?
All my friends to move with me

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Did not see many but would have to say RENT

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
28, went to visit San Francisco for the first time with Greg and had a blast

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Winning the lotto would be nice, haha

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
Jeans and a short/long sleeve tee-shirt or button down shirt, nothing exciting, learned to wear layers

friends

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Tobey McGuire is typically on my list but I don’t think he did anything this year so the first one that comes to mind is Steve Howey

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The fact that so many people are against gay rights

Don’t let anyone keep you from doing what you want to do
