Another long week behind me with lots of hours worked. On Friday the internal job postings were sent out and a new position was created, Assistant Operations Manager, which is basically a supervisor position to over see our department. After lots of thinking, should I or should I not apply for this job (if I do and get it will it look bad when I leave in 3 months or if I don’t apply will it look bad as to why do I not want it) I have decided to apply for the job, sent my info in today. I look at it as a good decision because it will be more money (at least it should be) and the position will look great on a resume. I feel I have a really good shot at the position so we shall see what happens and if I am offered the position I will go from there, looking at pay and so forth.

I think I am being a little of a hypercondriac(sp?) again, but I’m wondering if it is real this time, even though I always wonder that. The problem is if this is real this time I will need a minor operation which will not only mean taking time off work and losing vacation time being paid out when I leave and the co-pay it will cost. I’m gonna give it some time to see what happens, but today it seemed to be a real problem. Anyway, enough about that.
